Sandy was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on August 24, 1955.

She was admitted to the bar in Virginia in 1980 and subsequently moved to New York and was admitted to the New York bar in 1981.

Previously she had been an Associate of Harry H. Lipsig (the largest Plaintiff’s personal injury firm in the City of New York at that time). In 1983 Sandy moved on to join a boutique plaintiff’s personal injury firm and became a partner in 1985. There she worked on multiple complex plaintiffs personal injury cases resulting in multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements.

In August of 1997 Sandy partnered with Cheryl Eisberg Moin in order to provide clients with personalized representation that is both caring and results oriented.

Sandy is frequently known by clients as being “The lawyer in the family”. She is always ready to provide assistance and referrals for all of their legal needs.

Sandy’s hallmarks are: empathy, compassion and persistence. Her clients find her easy to communicate with, and willing to fight for their rights even in difficult situations.
